Shame! Buchi Criticizes Popular Pastor For Clubbing With Davido (Video)

Popular Twitter personality and social critic Solomon Buchi has publicly criticized UK-based clergyman, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, for being spotted clubbing with Nigerian music superstar, Davido.

The controversy erupted after a video surfaced online showing Davido and fellow artiste Wizkid at the same club, with Tobi Adegboyega sitting beside Davido. The video, which quickly went viral, sparked widespread reactions, particularly due to Adegboyega’s position as a pastor.

In his reaction, Solomon Buchi expressed his disapproval of the clergyman’s actions, stating that Tobi Adegboyega’s lifestyle is inconsistent with the values of a pastor. Buchi didn’t mince words, calling Tobi Adegboyega “a shame to the office of a pastor.” He questioned how a man of God could live such a lifestyle, which included luxury cars, clubbing, and a lavish display of wealth, all while still claiming to represent Jesus.

“Tobi Adegboyega is definitely not a pastor. Such a shame to the office of a pastor. You can’t be a pastor and be like that. He should just drive his luxury cars, go to clubs, and enjoy his Gucci. Stop mixing it with Jesus,” Buchi stated.

While many social media users agreed with Buchi’s stance, others defended Pastor Tobi, accusing Buchi of being judgmental.

This isn’t the first time Pastor Adegboyega has faced public scrutiny. Last year, he was entangled in a scandal after Nigerian footballer, Kayode Olanrewaju, filed a N1 billion lawsuit against him. The lawsuit alleged that Adegboyega had an affair with Olanrewaju’s wife, Ezinne. According to reports, Ezinne was introduced to the pastor through media personality Daddy Freeze. The footballer, who plays for Turkish club Gençlerbirliği, accused the pastor of openly engaging in an adulterous relationship with his wife, attending parties together, and sharing intimate moments in public. He demanded N1 billion in damages for the emotional distress and harm caused by the affair.

Despite the backlash and controversies, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega continues to attract attention both for his ministry and his luxurious lifestyle, sparking debate about what is acceptable behavior for modern-day pastors.
