New Claims On Toke Makinwa’s Rumored Marriage Emerge (Video)

This past weekend, social media was buzzing with rumors that media personality Toke Makinwa had secretly married her longtime partner, Farouk Umar, after photos from an event described as a “Thanksgiving” ceremony went viral.

The rumors that Toke Makinwa had secretly married gained momentum when actress and DJ Dorcas Shola Fapson, popularly known as Ms DSF, hinted at the supposed union through her social media posts. Ms DSF’s comments led to widespread speculation that Toke Makinwa and Umar had quietly marriein social media.

However, in a video shared on Instagram, Ms DSF cleared the air, explaining that her remarks about Toke Makinwa’s wedding were made in jest. “Bloggers, please. I was just joking. They’re not getting married. Toke is simply having a Thanksgiving for her birthday,” she clarified in response to the wedding rumors.

In the same post, Ms DSF humorously criticized how quickly the media ran with the story, captioning her video with, “I play too much and bloggers eat sh*t too fast.”

While the rumors have since been debunked, the viral images stirred up conversations online has continued to fuel speculations among her fans. 39-year-old Toke Makinwa, was previously married to businessman Maje Ayida and they went for a divorce in 2017 divorce.

As of now, Toke Makinwa has not addressed the rumors herself. The event in question, originally thought to be a wedding, was clarified as a Thanksgiving ceremony to celebrate Makinwa’s birthday.
