Online In-Laws Reikindle Falz Vs VeryDarkMan Fight At EndSARS Memorial

Popular Nigerian rapper, Falz, took to Instagram to pay tribute to the brave protesters who lost their lives during the #EndSARS movement, which reached its peak on October 20, 2020.

In his heartfelt post, Falz wrote:
“We will never forget the real heroes. Some of the bravest Nigerians that have ever lived.
We will never forget their ultimate sacrifice.
For on this day, four years ago, they redefined patriotism. May their souls rest.”

Falz, who was a vocal leader during the #EndSARS protests, actively participated in both physical and online demonstrations. He not only joined protesters on the streets but also provided food and other necessities during the movement. Through his social media platforms, Falz led a strong campaign calling for the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), which was widely accused of police brutality and human rights abuses.

His post sparked a wave of reactions across social media, with many Nigerians sharing their own reflections on the tragic events of October 2020, particularly the infamous Lekki Toll Gate shooting where peaceful protesters were allegedly killed by security forces.

However, some netizens accused Falz of been an hypocrite for paying tribute to the 2020 EndSARS protesters and at the same time, fighting Verydarkman who is fighting corruption.
