A national conversation has broken out over the priority given by the House of Representatives to the Bobrisky saga following an outburst by leading activist, Aisha Yesufu.

GWG.ng reports that Aisha Yesufu went on her social media pages to launch a tirade against the House of Representatives for taking the Bobrisky saga as a priority in the face of other more governance issues.

“The National Assembly has turned into a useless institution,” she said in a video following the arrest of Bobrisky at Seme border while she or he was attempting to cross over to Benin Republic.

Noting that the lawmakers have lowered their leverage as the most powerful arm of government she lambasted them for wasting tax payers money on the Bobrisky affair.

She, nevertheless, called out Bobrisky for making herself or himself into a comic theater daring him or her to come out and speak out over the issues against him or her.

Aisha Yesufu’s vituperations against the House was, however, not universally welcomed even by some of her supporters in the Obidient family who saw the Bobrisky saga as another sign of corruption that should be addressed.

GWG.ng gathered some of the reactions to Aisha Yesufu on her position on Bobrisky:

Why do we give attention too much attention to people who have no positive impacts on our lives. The average Nigerian are going through difficult times.  The PWD and the vulnerable are the most affected.  The absence of Minister of Humanitarian Affairs worsen the situation.

Madam, the house set up a committee to look into the alleged efcc bribery allegation, and also the Prison fiasco. It’s not about Bob risky. It could have been anybody. I’m sure there are other committees looking into the current hardships, and other relevant issues.

Joseph Okeke @joseph_okeke

Bobrisky case wasn’t any case at first but as it is now she or he has created a case for himself or herself
