Controversy Over Bobrisky’s First Night After Capture At Seme Border

There was mystery on Tuesday morning after controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky spent her or his first night after again falling into the long arms of the law.

Controversial crossdresser Okuneye Idris, known as Bobrisky, spent the night in a cell at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos State. However, like her or his earlier days in prison custody, there is controversy over whether he or she was placed with female or male detainees.

Meanwhile, The Punch has reported that Bobrisky spent at the FCID Annex, Alagbon. Information on her or his next port of call is pending further instructions from concerned authorities.

Bobrisky was taken to the FCID after being arrested by officials from the Nigeria Immigration Service while trying to leave the country through the Seme border. The source shared, “Bobrisky was brought to the FCID, Alagbon, around 10 p.m. on Monday. Immigration arrested him at Seme Border and brought him for safekeeping. He is in detention at the FCID, Alagbon. He was arrested on Sunday, detained overnight, and taken to the FCID, Alagbon, around 10 p.m. on Monday. He is still at the FCID.”

Mayegun Aminat, the spokesperson for the FCID in Lagos, confirmed the news, stating, “He is detained at FCID Alagbon. He is with us and we are to get a remand to keep him in custody today.” Kenneth Udo, the spokesperson for the Nigeria Immigration Service, also released a statement, describing Bobrisky as a person of interest due to recent public concerns.

Udo stated, “In keeping with its commitment to securing the borders, Nigeria Immigration Service intercepted Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, otherwise known as Bobrisky, at the Seme Border over an attempt to exit the country. He is undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action. The Service assures the public that it will continue to be civil and professional in its statutory responsibility of manning the country’s borders.”
