The 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League resumed on Tuesday night with several exciting matches across Europe, delivering thrilling results.

The standout match of the night took place at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Spain, where Real Madrid, the most successful team in the competition’s history, faced Borussia Dortmund from the German Bundesliga. Despite being down 2-0 at halftime, Real Madrid made a stunning comeback by scoring five goals in the second half to win the match 5-2.

Another exciting game was at the Emirates Stadium in London, where Premier League team Arsenal hosted Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk. An own goal by Dmytro Riznyk in the 29th minute was the only goal of the match, giving Arsenal a narrow 1-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Premier League club Aston Villa continued to show their strength in the Champions League by defeating Italian side Bologna 2-0. The goals came in the second half, with John McGinn and substitute Jhon Durán, who earned the Man of the Match award, finding the net.
