“I Will Bend You”: Portable Fires Back At VeryDarkMan Over Felabration Incident (Video)

Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable has responded to a social media critic, VeryDarkMan, after being called out for allegedly assaulting a man at Felabration. The event was held in honor of the late Afrobeat icon, Fela Kuti.

VeryDarkMan had released a video showing Portable hitting a man in a toilet and expressed his disapproval of the singer’s actions, urging him to stop assaulting people.

In reaction, Portable posted a video on his Instagram page, threatening VDM. He boldly stated, “Online madness is different from real life madness. I will bend you, I will mend you. I will cripple you. I am a one-man battalion. If I hold you… You are using Abuja to threaten me. Go and ask of me in Maraba Nyanya, use Babangida market, go and ask of Lagos boy.”

Portable then explained what led to the confrontation with the man he assaulted, sharing that the person had wronged him by accepting payment for five shows and disappearing for six months. He said, “My fans, you should have known the person I was beating. We had a one-on-one fight, man to man. Someone who has collected money for up to five shows and ran away with my money for six months. That man, he collected money for my shows. Are you my manager?”
