A picture of the disgraced member of the House of Representatives, Alex Ikwechegh waiting outside by the road for an Uber driver abroad has emerged as a contrast to his pummeling of an Abuja Bolt driver at the weekend.

The picture of Alex Ikwechegh waiting for an Uber driver while abroad was posted by the Amalgamated Union of App-Based Transporters of Nigeria, AUATON. The union is leading an online campaign to bring Alex Ikwechegh, a member of the House of Representatives to account for the assault on the yet unnamed driver.

GWG.ng reports that Alex Ikwechegh was thrown into national infamy and ridicule after a video of him assaulting a Bolt driver emerged. He boasted in the video that he could make the driver disappear and that not even the Inspector General of Police could do anything about him.

He said that he felt offended that the Bolt driver asked him to come out and pick his delivery. Alex Ikwechegh said in the trending video that the Bolt driver was rude to have asked him to come out to pick his delivery. He as such assaulted him even threatening to lock him up in his generator house.

The action of the lawmaker has been drawing strong denunciation from every right thinking sector of the society.

Meanwhile, a post of Alex Ikwechegh standing on the road in a yet to be identified country waiting for an Uber driver has appeared on social media. The post went to show the hypocrisy of the lawmaker who would wait for an Uber driver on the road abroad while returning to Nigeria to assault a Nigerian Bolt driver for not kowtowing to him because he is a federal lawmaker.

The post was shared on Twitter by AUATON, which is actively creating awareness on social media against the lawmaker.

Many X users have gone on to further castigate the 44 year old.

He should have waited for the uber man to come carry him from his room. They only show their stinking egos when in Nigeria
