The Bolt Driver assaulted by member of the House of Representatives, Alex Ikwechegh was further assaulted and detained by the police until early on Monday morning, GWG.ng reports.
He was locked up and his vehicle confiscated by the police following what is believed to have emerged a report by the lawmaker to the police who put him behind bars.
He was only released on Monday morning after spending the night in police detention despite being the victim of the assault by Alex Ikwechegh who had bragged that he would make him to disappear and nothing would come out of it.
GWG.ng reports that Alex Ikwechegh had felt offended when the bolt driver brought his delivery and asked him to come and pick it. He had in response expressed outrage that he was not given enough respect shouting on the driver “do you know who I am?” he had bragged that he could do him anything and that not even the Inspector General of Police could do anything about it.
In an apparent demonstration of his threat, Alex Ikwechegh had apparently formally brought in the police who locked him up till morning despite being the victim of the assault.
Social media activist who revealed this development said in a post on Monday afternoon that the Bolt driver’s vehicle is still being held by the police assaulted by Alex Ikwechegh.
