Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has made headlines again, this time as a motivational speaker following her or his recent release from custody.
GWG.ng reports that Bobrisky was arrested at the Seme border penultimate Monday on the suspicion of trying to flee from legal issues.
Following his or her release Bobrisky in a video circulating on social media shared an encouraging message that resonates with many, even as it appeared to be directed at his or her biggest opponent, social media critic VeryDarkMan.
In the video, Bobrisky advised viewers to focus on the message rather than the messenger, saying, “Ignore the messenger. Ignore the messenger’s appearance. Just pick the message if it’s useful for you.” This shift in tone surprised many, as fans expected him to promote a product or service, but instead, he chose to uplift others.
Bobrisky emphasized the importance of self-acceptance and happiness in her or his motivational speech. “You have every right to be happy. You have every right to choose who you want to be, inasmuch as you’re not hurting anybody,” she or he stated. Continuing he or she said: “You cannot control what people think about you. You cannot control the opinions people have about you. Any opinion they have about you is their business. It’s not your business. It’s none of your business.”
Addressing her or his audience directly, she or he said, “Are you listening to me? Any opinion these guys have about you, you have no control over it. You only have control over your own self.” He urged viewers to prioritize their happiness, declaring, “And you have only one thing to do: to stay happy. To remain happy.”
Bobrisky also encouraged self-confidence, particularly among women. “If you’re a girl, flaunt your beauty,” she or he advised. “If you have the money. I’m talking to the ones that have the money. And you have the confidence. Fix your body. Take care of yourself. Look good.”
He or she reminded his or her audience that looking good should be for personal satisfaction rather than for the approval of others. “You are not peppering anybody. If you’re looking good to pepper anybody, you’re wasting your time. Look good to make yourself happy. Your happiness matters more than anything else. Are you listening to me? Please.”
Bobrisky’s unexpected transformation into a motivational figure has sparked conversations online, with many praising his message of self-empowerment and positivity.
