Champions League Table Shaken Up After Week 4 Results
Liverpool secured a strong position at the top of the Champions League table after an impressive 4-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday.
This victory marks Liverpool’s fourth consecutive win in the tournament, maintaining a perfect record with zero goals conceded, showcasing both solid defense and powerful attack.
During the match, Leverkusen struggled to stop Liverpool’s continuous pressure. Liverpool’s consistent performances have made them the only team so far with maximum points.
Sporting Lisbon also made an impact by defeating Manchester City 4-1, moving to second place. Monaco, Brest, and Inter Milan follow closely behind, all tied at 10 points.
In a surprising outcome, Real Madrid lost 3-1 at home to AC Milan, putting them in a disappointing 18th position. Paris Saint-Germain is even lower, ranked 25th, after losing in the final moments to Atletico Madrid.
Each team in the tournament will play eight matches. The top eight teams will directly advance to the knockout stage. Teams ranked from ninth to 24th will compete in playoffs for a chance to join the last 16.
