How I Was raped By My Nanny – Charly Boy
Speaking in an exclusive interview with media personality Duke Rants, Charly Boy disclosed that he was sexually abused by his nanny at a young age.
In a candid conversation, Nigerian entertainer Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, opened up about his traumatic childhood experiences, revealing disturbing details of early sexual abuse and exposure to unsafe sexual environments.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with media personality Duke Rants, Charly Boy disclosed that he was sexually assaulted by his nanny at a young age, an experience he described in a way that challenges conventional understandings of abuse.
Charly Boy, who has long been a prominent figure in Nigerian entertainment, recounted that he was a victim of sexual abuse by his nanny. Despite the obvious trauma of such an event, Charly Boy surprisingly stated that he did not feel victimized at the time. “I was raped by my nanny,” he openly admitted. When pressed further on how he felt during the abuse, he stated, “No, I didn’t. I actually enjoyed it. I didn’t know what was going on but it felt good.”
His statement raises complex questions about the psychological effects of early sexual trauma, particularly for children who may not fully comprehend the nature of the abuse they are experiencing.
This disclosure adds a layer of nuance to ongoing discussions about child sexual abuse and the ways in which it can manifest and impact its victims, particularly when the abuser is someone in a position of trust.
Charly Boy also shared that his exposure to sexual activities began at an alarmingly young age. By the age of 12, he had already contracted gonorrhea, a clear indication of his involvement in high-risk sexual behavior. He openly acknowledged his visits to brothels during his early teens, a troubling admission that highlights his premature exposure to adult sexual environments. “At 12, I’d already contracted gonorrhea. I was going to all the brothels around, you know,” he revealed.
This disclosure may suggest a broader pattern of sexual exploitation among young people, particularly in environments where boundaries are blurred, and sexual activity is normalized. While Charly Boy’s narrative with his nanny reflects his personal experiences, it also underscores the need for greater awareness of the dangers faced by vulnerable children in environments where sexual activity is present, such as brothels or homes with inadequate protection.
