Photos: Obasanjo Wears Red Cap As He Arrives Kano For Kwankwaso’s Wedding
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo arrived Kano on Saturday to attend the wedding of Aisha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the daughter of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the national leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
Upon his arrival, Obasanjo wore a red cap and received a warm welcome from Kwankwaso and the governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
GWG.ng learnt that Obasanjo was received by a delegation at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano. Aisha Kwankwaso is set to marry her fiancé, Engr. Fahad Dahiru Mangal.
In addition to Obasanjo, former Senate President Bukola Saraki is also in Kano for the wedding. Saraki confirmed his arrival on his X handle, stating, “A little while ago, I arrived in Kano ahead of the Wedding Fatiha between the children of my dear friends, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso and Alhaji Dahiru Mangal.”
