Nigerians Decode Trump’s Message To Jonathan

Nigerians have been trying to find political colour to a reply from Donald Trump to a congratulatory message from former Nigerian president, Dr Goodluck Jonathan following the former’s recent election as the 47th president of the United States of America, USA.
Replying to a message of congratulations from Dr Jonathan following his emphatic victory over the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, Trump promised that as United States president he will help restore electoral integrity to Nigeria and the rest of Africa. It is a message that is echoing with excitement to among some Nigerians who believe that the country’s electoral integrity has been gradually slipping into disrepair since the advent of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
However, the message from Donald Trump to Jonathan was also being used by some to encourage the former Nigerian president to help retrieve the country from the grip of the APC.
According to the commenters, Jonathan should emulate Donald Trump who helped to retrieve the political direction of the United States from the far left agenda.
Jonathan had in congratulating Donald Trump on his victory posted thus:
The response from President Trump has, however, enlivened Nigerian social media space on the prospect of his presidency on Nigeria and the rest of Africa.
