Adeboye Under Pressure To Sue After Money Making Allegations (Video)
Renowned Nigerian human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), has sparked conversations with his comments about Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Speaking during an interview with Sahara TV, Falana expressed concerns about the nature of church expansions in Nigeria following assertions of Pastor Adeboye expanding the number of RCCG churches.
Falana criticized Pastor Adeboye’s recent statement about ensuring that every neighborhood has a branch of the RCCG within walking distance, claiming such moves are more akin to setting up “business centers” than establishing religious institutions.
Falana further warned Nigerians about the dangers of overemphasizing religiosity at the expense of genuine spirituality. He suggested that many Nigerians are being distracted by organized religion instead of focusing on deeper spiritual growth and ethical living.
