Obi’s Camp Mocks Tinubu, Says He Cannot Near Obasanjo’s Shadow

Popular Nigerian political activist, Nefertiti well regarded as among the leading supporters of Peter Obi has come out in strong denunciation of the leadership quotient of the Bola Tinubu administration saying the incumbent will forever abide in the shadows of President Olusegun Obasanjo.

In a post on her X handle, @firstladyship, Nefertiti averred that Tinubu was never prepared for governance and hence cannot ever rival Obasanjo in the polity or outside the country.

Nefertiti in the post adopted the claims by Peoples Democratic Party, PDP chief, Segun Sowumimi that the perceived ineptitude of the present administration was reflected by the failure of the government to appoint a spokesperson.

She posted thus:

Tinubu was never prepared, he is still not prepared. If you cannot put together a media team, how can you put Nigeria together?

Remi Oyo was Obasanjo’s spokesperson.

Reuben Abati was GEJ’s spokesman.

Femi Adesina was Buhari’s spokesman.

When you saw OBJ, you immediately knew he was rubbing shoulders with world leaders as their EQUAL. OBJ was front & centre; he was hands-on. He wasn’t cowering behind nobody

OBJ put Nigeria on the map. He carried the conscience of the nation wherever he went. He marshaled the rest of Africa on the world stage. Nigeria led, the rest of the continent followed.

Today, South Africa is leading the continent. Rwanda, Egypt, Morocco, Mozambique are right behind Ramaphosa. My Darling Nigeria; the once Giant of Africa & Champion of Apartheid Struggle, is left to scramble for scraps.

Obasanjo had great presence, & Nigeria was better for it. Nigeria was seen! Abroad? We were the most conspicuous in the room!

Asiwaju is not fit to live in Obasanjo’s shadows. That exalted place is reserved for Musa Yar’dua & Goodluck Jonathan. BAT will continue to live in Buhari’s shadows. That is where he belong!

He is going to finish last, behind Muhammadu Buhari. You want to cancel Obasanjo? It’s been 17 years, & his records are yet to be broken. 😆
