Be humble

Long traumatised fans of Manchester United FC were on Saturday night leading the chorus to force the exit of Pep Guardiola from city rivals, Manchester City FC after the defending Premier League champions suffered their worst home defeat in the Pep Guardiola era.

The 0-4 home loss at the hand of visiting Tottenham reckoned as the worst home defeat for Guardiola since Real Madrid defeated his Bayern Munich tutored side in a European Champions league game in 2014.

It was also the fifth consecutive defeat for the defending champions.

Two goals from J. Maddison in the 13th and 20th minutes capped a miserable first half for Manchester City that were compounded by two goals from Tottenham’s Pedro Porro in the 52nd minute and the 93rd minute sinker from Johnson.

GWG.ng reports that it was a miserable outing for Guardiola who only penned a two year contract extension earlier in the week with the loss inspiring a never envisaged chorus for the exit of the City maager.

The result immediately sent fans of many other clubs cheering if not as it exposed the vulnerabilities of Manchester City which has won 6 of the last league titles and dominated the game since the arrival of Guardiola at the Etihad.

Shockingly, the hashtag #PepOut started trending with many of those advocating it being non-city fans.

Manchester United fans returning to their old refrain of City being the noisy neigbours mocked that their rivals lacked the sufficient population of fans to show outrage, with some mocking that City does not have more than 15 fans to demand the exit of Guardiola.

SAM @Psalmuel__  posted as such:

If an another club, them go don start #PepOut agenda. Losing 5 in a row at a supposed big club. Even mid club axe manager.

But it’s City, no actual fans with that voice of outrage. Club not as big as the manager.

The genuine 15 fans will just go home again after the L. No noise.

#PepOut. I’ve been supporting Man City since 2011. This is the worst city side in premier league history. Pep needs to go now!!!!

Lost the dressing room. Should have got Ruben Amorim before Man U got him!! #MCFCSPURS #MCITOT

The MUFC Engineer @MUFCEngineer

ManUtd had 60+ injuries last season but NEVER LOST 5 matches.

Mancity lost Rodri, 1 PLAYER, and are losing 5 matches on a bounce.

GWG.ng reports that Guardiola is yet to respond to the online chorus for his exit.
