Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has responded to public curiosity surrounding the identity of her baby’s father and husband.

GWG.ng reports that Dayo Amusa recently welcomed her first child in the United States on November 18, but she has chosen to keep her husband’s identity private, leading to widespread speculation online.

During a live session on TikTok, Amusa addressed the questions, clarifying that her baby has a father, but she has no intention of revealing who he is. She emphasized her desire to maintain peace and protect her happiness by keeping her personal life away from public scrutiny.

“I realized that some people are so interested in knowing who the father of my child is. Is your husband missing?” she said, humorously addressing the speculation. “The child is not a fruit that just fell from heaven. He definitely has a father.”

Amusa also mentioned that she does not need or expect congratulations from everyone. “It is not compulsory you congratulate me. Don’t bother if it’s not convenient for you. I do not care. I am the one in the public eye, not my husband,” she added.

Dayo Amusa explained that her decision to keep her husband’s identity private is a deliberate one to safeguard her peace. “I would only let out what I want to let out. I want to maintain my peace, that is why my personal life is undisclosed,” she concluded.

Amusa also expressed her joy in becoming a mother, describing the experience as giving her “a new name.”
