6 Things You Can Clean With Lemon In Your House

You don’t need commercial products to clean everything in your house especially if you have lemon around you.

One of the best ways to clean many surfaces is with something you probably already have in your home, and more specifically, your kitchen: a lemon. 

Here are six things you can clean with lemon.

Porcelain sinks

While you’re in the bathroom, don’t forget to clean the sink.  It is advisable that cleaning porcelain sinks be done  with a mix of lemon and salt.

The microwave

The microwave can get surprisingly dirty, but because it’s hidden behind a closed door, it’s easy to overlook—until the mess becomes impossible to ignore.

But lemon can do the magic  and help clean it up. Fill a bowl with water and a few lemon slices or just lemon juice, and microwave it for a couple of minutes.

Pots and pans

 For those stubborn pots and pans with grime, you can sprinkle salt or even baking soda with a bit of lemon juice and scrub away the grease.

Windows and mirrors

If you want to have streak-free and shiny windows and mirrors, just add a bit of lemon juice to water and clean away,

Grout

Getting mold and water stains off grout can be a challenge, but lemons can make it much easier. Just mix some lemon juice with baking soda to create a paste. Then, use an old toothbrush or cleaning brush to spread it on. Wait a few minutes and rinse it off.

Grill Grates

If your grill grates are looking less than great, lemon can help you get those stuck-on pieces of food right off.
