Shock As Lady Attacks Nigerian Governor During Night-Out (Video)
A video of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos nearly being attacked by a yet to be identified lady during an interaction has set tongues wagging. Concerns have been expressed over his security and the impudence of the unknown woman.
The undated video posted by Instagram blogger, Goldmynetv showed the woman approaching Sanwo-Olu who took steps back as the woman raising her hands pointed at him asked “what are you going to do about housing…”.
Instead of staying in a position to ask her question she took steps towards the governor who took back steps as the lady raised her hand towards the governor. It was at that point that some individuals believed to be security aides of Governor Sanwo-Olu intervened and bundled her out of the stage to prevent an attack.
GWG.ng reports there is uncertainty as to when this incident happened as an Instagram user has claimed that the near attack occurred during Sanwo-Olu’s first term at a Grand House Reception (GHR) at the Coliseum in Opebi.
Whatever, the trending video has raised questions on the humility of Governor Sanwo-Olu, with some raising questions over the security around him. Also, questions have been directed at the woman whose comportment and audacity have been brought to focus.

Don’t try this elsewhere. You broke the governors protocol , left the audience, took over his platform and almost pushing him off . You can see the governor was moving back . His security agents should be changed. He could be killed if this was an assailant . The woman went past her boundary and no matter how good the question was she does not deserve any answer . You cannot do this in a press briefing in US, UK or China and get to this level .

People will say all sort of things, she sounds like someone who lives in the US or Canada but even in US she wouldn’t have that kind of opportunity to get that close to the governor.

Who is Sanwo Olu? He is a public servant, he is not more important than anyone else. People have been so de/humanised, that they worship their op-pressors. She is educated, she knows her rights. She knows he’s not better than her in anyway. She has attained that level of “self actualisation”described in Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Once you attain that level through exposure and education, you won’t see these thi-eving ding-bats as anything.
