Untold Drama Of How Burna Boy Exited Omawumi, Waje From Studio (Video)

Music star Timaya shared a story about Grammy-winning artiste Burna Boy, recalling a moment when Burna boldly predicted his success and faced skepticism from fellow musicians Omawumi and Waje.

Timaya recounted that years ago, during a studio session, Burna Boy confidently stated that he would one day be paid to fly on private jets.

At the time, this seemed far-fetched, especially as Nigerian artistes hadn’t started using private jets. However, Omawumi and Waje expressed doubts about his claim, which upset Burna Boy.

In a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos, Timaya said, “Nothing Burna Boy is doing now surprises me. The guy is fearless. There was one time when Burna Boy, Omawumi, and Waje were in the studio, and he [Burna Boy] started saying that a time would come when he would be getting paid to enter jets. Omawumi and Waje started doubting him because then Nigerian artistes hadn’t started flying private jets. He got angry and opened the studio door and asked them to leave.”

Timaya praised Burna Boy’s determination, highlighting how his confidence and bold predictions have come true over time.
