Pastor Tobi speaks

Controversial London based Nigerian pastor, Tobi Adegboyega who was convicted of alleged fraud and sentenced for deportation has charged his fans not to panic saying that he is sure to overcome the present allegations against him.

GWG.ng reports that an immigration tribunal in London had ruled that Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, 44,  should be deported to his native Nigeria after investigations, including by The Telegraph, exposed misuse of funds by his church.

The reports which have saturated the social media were on top of previous controversies about the pastor.

Reacting to the development, Pastor Tobi in a video obtained by GWG.ng affirmed that he would overcome the controversies and would remain in London which he described as his city.

He said:

“I have heard a lot today and I am doing this because of our fans and our friends, people who are worried. I am right here at home, no cause for alarm and naturaly I hate things that have to do with retrogression.

“Every Nigerian should be proud of me, even in the UK a city that is well known for pulling people down, I have survived all sorts. The matter that they are propagating is the smallest matter.

“No panic, I love London City, it is my city and nobody can do anything. Of all the people of colour you know here, pastors and leaders, I have survived everything. Now, let me talk about fraud case, fraud case. This is an advanced country.

“Those who hate, hate already and what you want to hear is not what you heard today. What you want to hear is that they arrested me for money this, money that, but not one criminal case, not one money case. You should all be proud of me and of the Nation family. So, I am here, I am at home, nobody should panic for me. I succeeded here in this country despite all challenges.

“I am in the league of the people you look up to. People that they pick out to persecute. I have survived that one, nothing has changed, nothing will change. I assure all our followers that there will be no embarrassment for you other than noise and noise which we have survived for many years. I am here, I am PT, Number one in London City and nothing is going to bring us down,” Pastor Tobi said following his affirmation to remain in London.
