‘He Poured The Acid On My Clothes, Then On My Face’ Nigerian Woman Seeks Justice Against Husband (Video)

A Nigerian woman has recounted the horrifying moment her husband allegedly poured acid on her face, leaving her with severe injuries.

The woman shared her ordeal during an interview with BBC Pidgin as she described the acid incident that has drastically altered her life.

According to her, the attack happened unexpectedly. She noticed her husband pouring an unknown substance on her clothes and confronted him. To her shock, he turned on her, dousing her face with acid. Adding to the trauma, he locked her inside their home to prevent her from seeking help.

Despite the pain caused by the acid, her four-year-old child managed to unlock the door, enabling her to escape. Neighbors and bystanders rushed to provide first aid before taking her for medical assistance.

The visibly scarred woman, who spoke with palpable pain and heartbreak, expressed confusion over the motive for the attack. “I don’t know what I did to him,” she said, emphasizing her plea for justice against the inhumane act.
