Pastor Bolaji Idowu on fraud allegation

Pastor Bolaji Idowu, the Lead Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), has addressed the allegations of a ₦1.5 billion fraud after being invited by the police for questioning.

The allegations, which included involvement in real estate fraud and money laundering, had caused significant attention.

During his “Next Level Prayers” session on Wednesday, Pastor Idowu clarified the situation, denying any involvement in property transactions or fraudulent activities. He emphasized that he does not own any properties in Nigeria except for the one inherited from his late parents.

The pastor further dismissed rumors claiming that he had received large sums of money into his accounts. He stated, “Someone said I received billions into my account. My account is public; anyone can check if I have ever received such amounts. I did not.”

Pastor Idowu expressed his gratitude to his supporters for their encouragement and messages during the controversy. He remained confident, adding, “I want to thank all of you that showed a lot of love. We are victorious, as you are reading it, I’m also reading it, like wow.”
