Nigerians have flooded the social media to give their perspectives on the circumstances around controversial London based cleric, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega following the ruling of a United Kingdom, UK Immigration tribunal.
GWG.ng reports that Pastor Tobi was found guilty of a £1.87m fraud charge by the tribunal which ordered his deportation to Nigeria. He has since refuted the claims with a vow to shame his enemies.
The pastor had become a controversial item in the media over his proclivities including reports of romantic liasons with the wife of a Super Eagles star, wild parties with Nigerian musicians and extravagant spending. He was once reported to have gifted £3,000 to visiting controversial Nigerian musician, Portable during a hangout with the musician. He also gifted Chioma, wife of music star, Davido, a $70,000 handbag.
GWG.ng reports that though his London based church was reported for doing some good works among the poor in London, the negative news about Pastor Tobi overwhelmed the essence of the gospel of Christ which he even sometimes appeared to ridicule.
Upon the news of his conviction by the tribunal, the media in Nigeria has been awash with the antics and adventures of the man who many professors of Christ appeared to be embarrassed associating with.
Many have also gone to the social media to bring to light the controversial slants of the ministry of Pastor Tobi Adegboyega.

GWG.ng reports that just a month ago when he marked his birthday with pomp that Pastor Tobi Adegboyega did not discern the looming legal problems when he boasted that his lawyers and money will get him out of trouble.
There were many also who would not agree to associate the title of pastor with Tobi Adegboyega.
