Nigerian singer Oniyide Azeez, better known as Zinoleesky, has responded strongly to claims by dancer Lil Smart, who accused him and Naira Marley of plotting against his life.

Zinoleesky’s reaction centers on refuting the allegations and challenging Smart to provide evidence in court.

The controversy began when Lil Smart, whose real name is Idowu Smart Emmanuel, took to Instagram with a series of posts alleging that Naira Marley and Zinoleesky were targeting him. He linked their alleged actions to the tragic death of musician Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

“If anything happens to me (missing or killed), just know it is both Naira Marley and Zino,” Smart claimed in one post. He went on to state, “That’s the same way they bullied Mohbad till he died. I’m going to spill all ‘u guys secrets’. If you wanna ruin my life, we gonna go down together.”

Smart further accused the duo of other serious offenses, including drugging women at Marlian house parties and silencing victims with money. He even alleged that the late Mohbad’s death was connected to their actions, adding, “How you guys actually killed Mohbad… I could have died today.”

In response, Zinoleesky denied any connection to the allegations and dismissed them as an attempt to gain attention. Using his Instastory, the musician stated, “Stop using my name for clout chasing… [I] haven’t seen dat n*gga in years…” Zinoleesky added a firm warning, “Sha get ready to prove everything in court!”

The accusations and Zino’s rebuttal have drawn significant attention online, reigniting debates about the controversies surrounding the Marlian Music crew. Zinoleesky’s emphasis on addressing the claims legally sets the tone for a likely court battle, leaving the public to await further developments in this unfolding saga.
