Super Falcons star and Paris FC goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie has retained the CAF Goalkeeper of the Year award saying she has achieved the dream of every young girl.

GWG.ng reports that she first won the prize last year.

She was a key player of the Super Falcons team that returned to the Olympics after a 16-year absence and also her French club Paris FC featured in the group stage of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

GWG.ng reports that the CAF Goalkeeper of the Year award adds to Chiamaka Nnadozie’s position as one of the best female goalkers in the world, a fact that has been alluded to her several awards in club competitions.

Nnadozie played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s impressive campaign at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and was instrumental in Paris FC’s historic run in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, where her heroics in penalty shootouts earned global acclaim.

Expressing her joy, Nnadozie said, “This is for every young girl who dares to dream. I am honoured to represent Nigeria and Africa on this stage. This award is a testament to hard work, resilience, and the incredible support I’ve received from my teammates and coaches.”
