A Nigerian lady has sparked outrage on social media after sharing a shocking incident involving a doctor’s alleged inappropriate conduct, which reportedly led to the tragic death of a newborn at a hospital in Lagos Island.

The story, shared via her X (formerly Twitter) account, detailed how a doctor allegedly delayed a life-saving procedure during a woman’s delivery after she refused his inappropriate request. According to the account, the doctor asked the pregnant woman to touch his private part, and when she declined, he reportedly delayed the necessary medical intervention, leading to the baby’s death.

In her emotional post, the lady wrote: “The baby died because the doctor delayed the procedure all because he wanted the lady to touch his private part. Now she’s undergoing a C-section. This is annoying. I am pissed. Hearing the story from her relatives here at the hospital is pissing me off.”

She went on to identify the hospital as Lagos Island Maternity Hospital, stating, “A doctor just told a pregnant woman to touch his private part. A woman who came to deliver a baby.”

As the post gained traction online, it triggered an outpouring of anger and disbelief from Nigerians, with many demanding accountability and swift action against the accused medical practitioner. Netizens flooded the comment section to share their thoughts, expressing outrage over the alleged misconduct and questioning the hospital’s oversight.
