It was a successful weekend for several Nigerian footballers playing for clubs abroad.

Many of them contributed to their teams’ victories in the last game just before Christmas. Key players like Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and Tolu Arokodare stood out with their performances.

Victor Osimhen had an excellent game for Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig. He scored twice in their 5-1 win over Kayserispor. His first goal came from a penalty just four minutes into the match. Later, he assisted the second goal, further proving his value to the team. With this performance, he is now just one goal away from matching his total from last season. Genk remains strong in the title race with 41 points after 19 matches.
