Oseni’s remarks reflect growing public frustration with the government’s approach to key national issues, particularly controversial policies such as the removal of fuel subsidies and the implementation of tax reforms. Many Nigerians had hoped that the media chat would provide clarity and reassurance, but Oseni’s critique suggests that it fell short of expectations.
The president’s media chat, which marked his first official address to the nation since assuming office, has sparked mixed reactions. While some praised his resolve to pursue tough reforms, others, like Oseni, have expressed concerns over the lack of a concrete plan to address the economic and social challenges facing the country.
