Train Collides with Sienna Carrying Rice (Video)

A train collided with a rice-laden vehicle in the Iju-Fagba area of Lagos State on Tuesday, December 24.

The incident, which was captured in a video that has since gone viral on social media, has drawn significant attention.

The vehicle involved in the accident was identified as a Sienna, reportedly carrying several bags of rice. As of now, there are no confirmed reports of casualties.

This comes a year after a similar accident in Lagos led to the tragic deaths of at least three people and left many others injured. That incident occurred when a staff bus collided with a commercial train on Agege Motor Road. Reports from the investigation revealed that the bus driver had ignored traffic signals and attempted to cross the tracks, leading to the deadly crash.

Authorities are likely to investigate the recent incident to determine its cause and prevent future occurrences.
