Arsenal Eyes Chukwueze To Replace Injured Saka
Arsenal is reportedly considering Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze, as a replacement for their injured player, Bukayo Saka.
This follows Saka’s hamstring injury during Arsenal’s 5-1 win against Crystal Palace. Saka had to leave the game after just 25 minutes and was later seen using crutches.
Although fears of a serious injury requiring surgery have been ruled out, Saka is expected to be unavailable for around two months. This has pushed Arsenal to search for a player who can strengthen their squad during this challenging period. Chukwueze, who recently drew interest from Aston Villa, has become a potential option for the club. According to reports, Arsenal see him as a strong candidate for the right-wing position.
Samuel Chukwueze, currently with AC Milan, is also being considered by other clubs. Aston Villa is still interested in signing him, and a return to La Liga has been hinted at. However, AC Milan would likely want to recover the €20 million plus €8 million they spent to sign him in 2023.
Reports from Italy suggest that leaving AC Milan could be beneficial for Chukwueze’s career. This move might provide opportunities for both him and the clubs involved, although no formal offers have been made yet. Arsenal remains focused on securing a strong winger to maintain their form in Saka’s absence.
