A lady has caused a stir online after posting a video of herself setting fire to her makeup kits, wigs, eyelashes, and other beauty products. In the video, shared on her TikTok page, she explained that she had decided to give her life to Christ and embrace “God’s natural beauty.”

The lady is seen lighting a fire and tossing her beauty items into the flames, watching as they burned. She explained that she was getting rid of all “ungodly” possessions as part of her spiritual transformation and embracing her natural look as a reflection of her newfound faith.

Along with the video, she shared Bible verses to support her decision. One of the verses quoted was from 1 Peter 3:3-6: “Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.”

She also cited Ephesians 2:8-10, stating, “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.”

When asked why she made this choice, she referred to 1 John 2:15, which says, “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.”

Her post sparked a wide range of reactions, with some people questioning her decision, while others expressed support. One user, VEN_OE🇬🇾, asked, “You did all this for what exactly??” Another, TakaAza, shared a more positive reaction: “I’m glad I was put out of the reason why this is happening.
