Life sometimes brings unexpected drama, and one strange incident involving a young man caught stealing is drawing attention after he was apprehended.

In a viral video, the scene began on a moving van, where the man, shirtless and bruised, faced an unusual punishment from his captors.

His swollen face showed signs of rough treatment before the recording. While on the van, the soldiers made him sing gospel songs and say a prayer they dictated to him. He repeated: “Lord Jesus, come into my life. I accept you as my Lord and personal Savior. I know I am a sinner. Please forgive me. I promise not to steal again.” Each mistake brought a lash from a cane.

At one point, one of the soldiers started singing “Good Morning Jesus” and forced the thief to join. Mistakes in singing earned more beatings. The odd mix of punishment and forced prayer left many viewers shocked.
