Portable Drags VeryDarkMan Over ‘Stolen’ NGO Funds (Video)

Nigerian singer Portable has launched a fiery challenge at influencer VeryDarkMan, demanding a wrestling match over allegations that the latter misappropriated funds meant for his NGO.

This intense exchange follows VeryDarkMan’s claim that hackers had stolen ₦180 million from his NGO’s website, leaving just ₦20 million behind.

In a bold video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Portable, known for his outspoken nature, displayed a wrestling belt while calling out VeryDarkMan, whom he labeled a thief. The singer’s challenge was clear: a public confrontation over the alleged theft.

In the video, Portable said:

“If you don’t return the stolen NGO money, don’t step foot in Lagos or Abuja. We’ll fight you. A thief is a thief, and a friend of a thief is also a thief. Rich men contributed about ₦180 million for orphans, and you spent it!”

He went on to accuse VeryDarkMan of misusing the funds, asserting that the money meant for charity was squandered on luxuries:

“You claim to be seeking justice for Nigerians, but it’s for your personal gain. I’ve never received ₦100 million to keep, yet I still distribute rice, noodles, and fix roads and streetlights in my area. But you, you spent the NGO money in clubs. Bad person!”
