Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, has advised his congregation to marry within the church, warning that he will no longer officiate marriages outside the ministry.

In a sermon that has since gone viral, Apostle Suleman highlighted the challenges he believes arise from such marriages of members who pick spouses outside his ministry.

He said, “If you wed somebody outside the ministry, I will not attend the wedding because there are a lot of daughters in this church, and you are looking outside”.

“The wedding will be conducted; they will wed you, but I will not come. Seventy percent of the crisis I have handled in the past two months is from people that married girls from outside here.”-Apostle Suleman said

However, Apostle Suleman’s remarks on marriage have sent the social media on frenzy, with numerous comments debating his stance. While some agree with his position, others argue that marriage decisions should not be restricted to members of a single church.
