NCC Clears Air On Tariff Hike

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has categorically denied rumors of an impending telecommunications tariff increase, allegedly set to take effect in January 2025.

The NCC described the reports of a tariff hike as false, urging subscribers to disregard the misleading information.

In a statement addressing the claims, a senior NCC official clarified that the commission operates under a transparent framework established by the Nigerian Communications Act (NCA) on issues of tariff hikes.
