Veteran music executive and CEO of Kennis Music, Kenny Ogungbe, shared insights into how the record label managed 2Face Idibia also known as Innocent Idibia and the issues of women around him during his time with them.

Ogungbe discussed how the label tried to shield 2Face from distractions, particularly his interactions with women.

On an episode of ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast, Ogungbe, who is popularly known as Baba Keke, explained that women constantly pursued 2Face’s attention. He revealed, “When 2Face was with us at Kennis Music, we prevented him from seeing girls. Girls came to look for him all the time, but we didn’t allow him to see any of them. However, when he left our label, there was nothing we could do about it anymore.”

Ogungbe further spoke on the issue of 2Face’s reputation, especially when comedians began joking about his women.

He noted that although the jokes were widespread, he never intervened. “Even when he was becoming the butt of jokes for being a womanizer, I didn’t call him to question him because he’s a matured man. Every man has his cross,” Ogungbe explained.

2Face’s personal life, especially his relationships with multiple women and fathering children from different women, made headlines at the height of his career. However, he eventually settled down and married Annie Idibia, one of his baby mamas in 2012.
