Real Madrid Alexander-Arnold Transfer

Real Madrid has set a transfer limit for Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold ahead of the January window. The Spanish club is interested in signing the English full-back but has defined a maximum budget for the deal.

According to reports from ‘Marca’, Real Madrid is ready to pay for Alexander-Arnold in January, but they are not willing to exceed €25 million (£20m/$26m) for the transfer. This decision comes after Alexander-Arnold rejected another contract renewal offer from Liverpool, signaling his intention to leave Anfield in 2025.

Real Madrid’s defensive issues during the 2024-25 season have led them to pursue new defensive reinforcements. The club hopes to secure Alexander-Arnold’s services in January, but if Liverpool refuses to sell, Real is prepared to wait until the summer and potentially sign him for free once his contract expires.

Real Madrid’s initial attempt to acquire the player was rejected by Liverpool, as confirmed by journalist Paul Joyce of ‘The Times’. Despite the ongoing rumors surrounding his future, Alexander-Arnold is expected to continue playing for Liverpool, with his place in the starting lineup likely secured for upcoming matches, including a Premier League fixture against Manchester United.

This transfer saga remains ongoing as Real Madrid and Liverpool prepare for their next steps in the January transfer window that could determined the next football pitch for Alexander-Arnold
