The visit to Babangida followed an earlier meeting Obi had with Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi and is trailing speculations that the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate is sparring to fight President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Photos of Obi’s visit to Babangida aka IBB had sparked curiosity among many Nigerians, with speculation about the purpose of their meeting.
