BREAKING: Gov Sacks 5 Commissioners

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has dismissed five commissioners in a significant cabinet reshuffle aimed at revitalizing governance and enhancing service delivery.
The sack of the five commissioners was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by Mukhtar Gidado, the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.
Gidado noted that the shake-up aligns with Governor Bala’s vision to strengthen the machinery of government by introducing fresh ideas and renewed energy to address emerging challenges effectively.
The affected commissioners are:
Jamila Dahiru, Commissioner for Education
Abdulhameed Bununu, Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs
Usman Danturaki, Commissioner for Information and Communication
Madugu Yalams, Commissioner for Agriculture
Yakubu Ibrahim, Commissioner for Religious Affairs and Societal Reorientation
Governor Bala expressed his appreciation for the outgoing commissioners, acknowledging their dedication and contributions to advancing key policies and initiatives of his administration in Bauchi State.
In a bid to fill the vacant positions, the governor has submitted the names of new nominees to the State House of Assembly for security clearance and confirmation. The nominees include Babayo Tilde (Toro), Abdullahi Mohammed (Misau), Bala Lukshi (Dass), Usman Shehu (Shira), Iliyasu Gital (Tafawa Balewa), Titus Ketkukah (Tafawa Balewa), Babayo Gabarin (Darazo), and Lawal Rimin Zayam (Toro).
