Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan has against the background of the beef between Burna Boy and Cubana Chief Priest warned fellow artistes to stop asking promoters for show features.

This caution follows an online dispute between Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy and celebrity barman Cubana Chief priest.

The feud began when Chiefpriest revealed that he had paid Burna Boy ₦1 million to perform as a backup artiste during his birthday party in 2018. He also mentioned that Burna Boy was successful before joining the group of wealthy individuals.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Cynthia shared her own experience from 2018, where she was also paid a similar amount for a show. However, the event organizers later claimed that she had been pursuing them romantically and accused her of stalking them.

Cynthia advised her fellow artistes to stop settling for less or begging for opportunities. She wrote, “Make artiste no dey collect beggy beggy show again. Na so Maleke, beg me to pay me N1 million for the show for 2018. They later say na I toast them, say I even they stalk them. Crãzy world.”

The intervention by Cynthia Morgan into the beef between Burna Boy and Cubana Chief Priest is expected to further enliven the discourse between both men and thier supporters.
