Tension As Police, Sowore Clash On Lagos Airport Road (Video)

Drama unfolded on the expressway leading to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, as activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, engaged in a heated confrontation with Nigerian police officers.

In a video shared on social media by Sowore himself, he was driving along the airport road when police officers flagged him down and instructed him to park. However, Sowore refused to comply, accusing the officers of causing unnecessary traffic congestion on the busy road.

Visibly frustrated, Sowore berated the Police officers for their actions, arguing that stopping vehicles in such a manner was inappropriate. Despite attempts by one of the officers to force him to stop, Sowore stood his ground, challenging their authority.

The confrontation reached a turning point when a senior Police officer, observing the situation, ordered his men to back down and allow Sowore to continue his journey.
