‘How I Escaped Abuja Killer, Timileyin Ajayi’ – Nigerian Lady Shares Experience

A Nigerian woman, identified as Esther, has recounted how she narrowly escaped falling into the hands of Timileyin Ajayi, the gospel singer and suspected Yahoo boy recently arrested for the gruesome murder of his alleged girlfriend in Abuja.
Speaking with popular blogger Tosin Silverdam, Esther shared her chilling experience, revealing that she had been lured by an opportunity advertised on Telegram, where Timilehin Ajayi claimed to be recruiting singers for a karaoke session.
As a singer eager to explore opportunities, Esther contacted Timilehin Ajayi, who informed her that participation would cost just ₦500 and provided a location for the meeting. However, she decided against going, a decision that may have saved her life.
In her words, “He told me to come to his place, promising to make arrangements for me. I almost fell victim to Timileyin Ajayi, as we were about to meet before the incident occurred, simply because I wanted to participate in the singing.”
Esther’s revelation comes after widespread reports of Timilehin Ajayi’s arrest, where he was caught carrying his alleged girlfriend’s severed head in a polythene bag.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the shocking crime, while many Nigerians are urging increased vigilance and safety awareness in light of the incident.
