Fuji legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM1, is grieving the loss of his former wife, Alhaja Hafsat Anifowoshe, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 65 after a battle with an undisclosed ailment.

Alhaja Hafsat was the mother of Idayat Anifowoshe, a Special Assistant on Special Duties to Dr. Mayor Muibi Folawiyo, the Executive Chairman of Lagos Island East Local Council Development Authority (LIELCDA).

Following Islamic traditions, her remains were interred at the Abari Cemetery in Lagos.

In a heartfelt tribute, the Chief Press Secretary to the LIELCDA Chairman described the late Hafsat as a remarkable woman and a devoted mother whose life was marked by service to God and humanity.

Addressing the bereaved family, he offered words of comfort, acknowledging the profound pain of their loss but urging them to find solace in her impactful life.

“We know it hurts so deeply to lose a loving mother and dependable partner,” he noted. “However, take solace in the time your mother spent on earth and her good service to God and humanity. Our thoughts are with you, and we pray that you, her children, and all those she left behind find the strength to continue where she stopped. May her soul find eternal rest.”

Fans and well-wishers have also poured in condolences to the bereaved family, offering prayers for strength and comfort during this difficult time.
