PaulO’s Daughter, Vanessa Slams ‘Ungrateful’ Spyro

Vanessa Paulo, daughter of prominent show promoter PaulO, has reacted to recent claims by her father’s former signee, Spyro, who alleged he made no earnings while signed to PaulO’s record label.
Spyro made the statement during an interview with Echoroom, a comment that has now drawn sharp criticism from Vanessa.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Vanessa, popularly known as Vanzyvanz, accused Spyro of ingratitude and disrespect, describing his remarks as “talking rubbish.” She detailed the extensive financial investments her father made in Spyro’s career, revealing that over ₦12 million was spent on him including music video production, promotional efforts, and international travel expenses.
In one of her posts, Vanessa expressed frustration with Spyro’s behavior, stating:
“Some of you people in this music industry dey craze. Small one hit, and you’re granting interviews talking rubbish. The way a lot of you are so quick to bite the hand that once helped you… God forgive you.”
She also shared a detailed spreadsheet highlighting the expenses incurred, noting that more than ₦4.2 million was spent on music-related projects, while additional costs were allocated for trips to Dubai and the UK.
Vanessa concluded her response with a mix of sarcasm and grace, writing:
“Money made with Spyro = 0 Kobo Naira. But it’s well, I’m happy for him.”
