By Gideon Ayeni

United Bank for Africa (UBA) has announced a scheduled maintenance of its card services channel, which will temporarily disrupt transactions for customers.
In a message shared with its customers, UBA revealed that the maintenance of the card services channel will take place on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 12:00 am to 5:00 am (WAT).
During this period, UBA debit and credit cardholders may be unable to process transactions using their cards.
However, the bank encouraged customers to utilize alternative banking channels, including *LEO, 919#, the UBA Mobile App, and Internet Banking, for uninterrupted service.
UBA apologized for any inconvenience the downtime might cause, reiterating its commitment to delivering superior banking experiences. The bank assured customers that updates will be provided once the maintenance is concluded.

The exercise is part of ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery and maintain secure, efficient payment solutions.
