Air Peace has debunked claims circulating online that two individuals arrested for fraudulent ticketing activities at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, were its staff.

In a strongly-worded statement signed by Air Peace Head of Corporate Communications, Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, the airline categorically stated that the suspects were not its staff or affiliated with Air Peace Limited.

The company emphasized its unwavering commitment to integrity, safety, and customer satisfaction, reiterating that it employs stringent recruitment and verification processes to uphold professionalism and trustworthiness across all its operations.

“We wish to state unequivocally that these individuals are not employees of Air Peace Limited. We operate with strict recruitment and employee verification processes to ensure professionalism and trustworthiness,” the statement read.

Air Peace further assured the public of its full cooperation with law enforcement agencies to ensure a thorough investigation and the pursuit of justice. The airline also urged vigilance among its customers to prevent falling victim to fraudsters impersonating its brand.

In its advisory, the airline encouraged the public to report any suspicious activities and reiterated the importance of verifying information from trusted media sources to avoid spreading false narratives that could harm the reputation of credible organizations.
