Police FINISH Kidnappers Of AIG’s Wife, Recover Ransom

The police have FINISHED the lives of kidnappers who last Thursday kidnapped the wife of retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police Hakeem Odumosu in the Arepo area of Ogun State.
News of the rescue through a ransom bait was conveyed on Thursday morning by Force Headquarters Public Relations Officer Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
He confirmed the successful rescue of the victim on his X handle.
“Police neutralize AIG Hakeem Odumosu’s wife kidnappers, recovers ransom.” He continued, “The IGP has commended the Police Operatives and CP Ogun State, Lanre Ogunlowo, for a good job.”
Adejobi also added, “We are committed to safeguarding Nigerian citizens and our dear country,” reiterating the police force’s dedication to protecting the public
GWG.ng reports that the ransom which was offered as a bait to the kidnappers was successfully recovered and the lives of the kidnappers FINISHED and headed to hell.
It would be recalled that earlier, Police spokesperson Omolola Odutola explained that the abduction occurred around 9 pm last Thursday when masked kidnappers accosted Odumosu’s wife’s Lexus Jeep. “The kidnappers dragged her out and whisked her away to an unknown destination,” Odutola said.
She also provided updates on the police operation, saying, “The Divisional Police Officer has led a team of officers to the scene, where they are currently searching the swampy bush area.” Odutola added that local security forces, including the Baale of Warewa and Maaba, had been contacted to assist in the search. “They have been asked to deploy local security forces to the riverine area,” she noted.
