Judikay Puts God First, Withdraws Case Against Eezee
By Gideon Ayeni

Popular gospel artiste, Judikay, has announced her decision to withdraw from the ongoing dispute with her former record label, Eezee Conceptz, citing her desire to uphold the unity of the body of Christ over seeking personal justice.
Judikay revealed that her contract with the record label ended in February 2024. However, the aftermath of the separation has been overshadowed by allegations of financial irregularities and communication breakdowns.
The singer disclosed that during the closure meetings for her contract, she discovered significant financial discrepancies. This prompted her to request an audit of her financial dealings with the label for the first time since she was signed.
Her request for the audit was reportedly met with resistance. Judikay alleged that her former boss cut off communication with her, stalling the closure process. Legal attempts to resolve the issue also hit a roadblock, as the label’s lawyers claimed she had no right to an audit—a position she insisted contradicted the terms of their agreement.
Further efforts to clarify the situation through professional auditors were ignored, with the label only acknowledging receipt of her formal emails but failing to provide any substantial response.
The prolonged dispute has taken a personal toll on Judikay, as she shared in a series of emotional social media posts. She expressed her heartbreak over the public ridicule her family faced and her deep pain at seeing the name of Jesus dragged into the controversy.
Weighing her options, Judikay said she has chosen to let go of the legal and public battles, prioritizing her faith and commitment to the unity of the gospel community.
In her Instagram post, the artiste wrote:
“I have made the deliberate decision to walk away from this entire drama, and I choose to prioritize the greater good and unity of the body of Christ. My role as a member of the body of Christ takes precedence, and I willingly make this sacrifice, drawing strength from the knowledge that Christ is of far greater worth than any earthly possession or vindication.”
Judikay also extended her heartfelt gratitude to her family, the gospel music community, and her supporters for their prayers and encouragement during this challenging time.
